Julie Abrams, MS, OTR

Julie Abrams received her master's of occupational therapy from Colorado State University in 2002.  Julie was fortunate enough to complete on of her student internships with Lois Hickman on JenLo Farm where she still practices OT today. Julie began her career working in a preschool and shortly there after, also started working with kids in a clinic.  She also has experience working in Early Intervention. Her heart has always been outside and she slowly started building a caseload at the farm.  Julie has over 20 years of experience as an OT and is passionate about being able to incorporate OT in a real and natural setting.

Amanda Betzen, MS, OTR

Amanda Betzen has enjoyed working as a pediatric occupational therapist since 2003 after earning her Master’s degree from Colorado State University. She has always loved working with children and prior to becoming an OT worked as a gymnastics instructor, camp counselor, and Special Olympics coach. Before working at the OT farm, Amanda spent 15 years as a school - based OT and worked with students with a wide variety of strengths and needs ranging in age from preschool up to age 21. Amanda grew up on a farm and  enjoys sharing her love of animals and being outside with children. Her approach is holistic and strengths based, and she highly values the power of collaborating with parents, families, school staff, and other providers. Another passion of Amanda's is practicing and teaching mindfulness - both to children and adults.
